Privacy Policy

The Feed Store (“we,” “us”) runs this website so customers can order feed and farm supplies for pickup at our store at 572 E 2nd St, Booneville, AR 72927. This policy explains what information we collect, why, and who we share it with.

What we collect

• When you place an order: your name, mobile phone number, email address (optional), the items you order, your pickup time and any notes you leave for our crew.
• House-account customers: when you sign in to your house account, we match you to your customer record in our accounting system (QuickBooks) by your phone number, so we can show your balance and charge orders to your account.
• Payments: card payments are handled by QuickBooks Payments (Intuit). Your card number goes straight to Intuit; it is never stored on our website.
• Your browser: your cart is saved in your own browser so it’s still there when you come back. We don’t use advertising or tracking cookies.
• Staff sign-in: store staff sign in with a Google account so we know who updated an order.

How we use it

• To prepare your order and have it ready at the time you picked.
• To text or email you when your order is ready, if you asked us to, and to contact you about your order.
• To record sales and house-account charges in our accounting system, as we do for in-store sales.

We don’t sell your information, and we don’t use it for advertising.

Who we share it with

Only the companies that run parts of this website for us, and only so they can do that job:

• Intuit (QuickBooks and QuickBooks Payments), our accounting and card-payment provider.
• Google (Firebase and Google Cloud), which hosts this website and stores order information.
• Our text-message and email providers, which deliver “your order is ready” messages.

We may also share information if the law requires it.

Text messages

If you choose text updates at checkout, we’ll send messages about that order only (for example, when it’s ready). Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to stop texts, or call us.

How long we keep it

We keep order records as long as we need them for our business and tax records. Ask us and we’ll delete your contact details from past online orders, except what we must keep for our accounting.

Security

The site uses encrypted connections (HTTPS). Customer and order information can only be seen by store staff who sign in, and card details are handled by Intuit, not by us.

Children

This site is meant for adults and isn’t directed to children under 13.
